It may be refreshing to ride it at a leisurely pace and actually enjoy the views. Also, this time of year is when the hills come alive with tarantulas. The males go looking for the 'ladies' who eventually end up eating them. Kinda neat to see these huuuge spiders crossing the roads. No I’ve only ridden the course twice; this year and last.
